The BiteStrip® is a disposable, accurate, none expensive device, designed to assess a masticatory muscles hyperactivity (bruxism). This system will help you inform your patient and settle an optimised treatment program.

The BiteStrip® components are put in a light plastic case

BiteStrip® is designed with :

• Two pre-gelled EMG electrodes and an EMG amplifier that picks up the EMG signals coming from masticatory muscles.

• A CPU microprocessor-based real time data acquisition and data analysis indicate the number of bruxism events detected per hour of sleep (masticatory muscles contractions).  

• A permanent chemical display unit showing the results.

• A lithium cell powering the system.
